We went to Cumbria in the spring. It was bloomin cold but beautiful. The kids loved it and so did we.Then we went to Spain in the summer. It was really great having my in-laws villa to ourselves. It was great when they came back too! Lovely place to go and the pool is refreshing in the Hot sun.
