Settling down

James started his new pre-school the next day. Wanted to get him in to a routine asap. Tiff still had to wait as Secondary School is a bit more comlpicated. I actually was gratefull as she was very helpfull in the time she wasn’t at school. We had a couple of meetings at the Gilberd School and they said she could start on the 22nd March.

It was a quick dash to town, or so we thought, to get the uniform. Getting a blazer out of school season is flippin difficult. After about 3 hours of searching we finally found one, and I mean 1, so we grabbed it quick.

All kitted up I took her on her first day. She made lots of friends on the first day and we were relieved. It is hard moving somewhere new and having to start a new school too. She seems happy enough and I hope she remains that way.

James is a bit clingy, but is still young. He cries when I leave him at pre-school and they have to prise him off me. I am trying to get him to show them things to distract him from me. So Far it has started to work. I bet I will have to start all over again after Easter. It is a lovely friendly pre-school and I am glad I chose it. Humpty Dumpty pre-school is the name if you are interested.

David is happy in his new job and enjoys the short commute to the office. It is in Hatfield Peveral, which is near Witham. I takes him about 25 minutes, compared to 1:5 hours from St Neots.

And Me!! Well, what can I say really. I miss my friends and I loved St Neots. It is lovely here and I know I will settle in time, but at the moment I think I am the least settled. I have spoken to a few people and our neighbour is nice too!
