Sports car
Well Am I lucky or what!!! My hubby bought me a nice little MG sports car. It is silver and has a black soft top. The interior is black leather with silver trim. Absolutley brilliant!!!!! I got it the week after my birthday in August.
Story behind it is:- we were actually out looking for a car for David as his had broken down on the A12 the week before. On my birthday we had to look for a new car for him and went to the Mitsubishi/Mg garage. Wow!! Lots of lovely shiny MG’s and all sorts of other cars.
I just asked for a test drive as it was my birthday and felt it would be a nice little treat for me. Then David went out for a test drive in a Rover and left me and the kids wandering round the forecourt. I spotted a nice Mitsubishi for him and when he came back, we all went for another test drive.
When we got back, I left him to get on with the paper work with the salesman, and just wandered around the cars. When he came out, the sales guy threw some keys at me and told me to get in the silver MG. I was a bit confused but got in anyway. Then David said Happy Birthday and I was gob smacked to say the least. He had part exchanged my car for the MG!! Well I was so excited!!!
But of course some people said it wasn’t a practical car as it only has 2 seats and I have 2 kids. But as David has a family car it doesn’t really matter. He has my car once a week and I have his, and if I need a bigger car I just take his, so it works well. I love it anyway.
