Wow!! Yesterday (Saturday), what a pain in the neck that was!!
First the shower floods onto the bathroom floor in the main bathroom and Tiffany got in a bit of a panic when she realised what was happening. When I went in to the bathroom I saw how wet the carptet was and thought “oh my god!” I ran downstairs to get my wet and dry hoover to clean up the water. It got 90% of the water out of the carpet, but I had to pull the carpet up to dry out the underlay and the floor. I hate carpet in bathrooms but it was already there when we moved in. We fixed the shower from overflowing again with a plunger and a screw driver. Yep it was hair and building rubble clogging up the pipes!!
We had a nice morning wandering around town and when we came home I remembered David would need his swimming things this morning so did all of the washing. Guess what happened next??? Yep the tumble dryer died on me!! My right hand man when the weather is not good!! I had to rewash some clothes as they smelt burnt from the tumble dryer and then had to drape everything where ever there was a space to get it dry. Not my favourite way of drying clothes!!
We did fix the washing machine a couple of weeks ago ourselves but no way can we fix the tumble dryer. They say problems come in three’s so I hope that that was our three!!
