Rover MG
Hi everyone!!
Well what can I say!! It is such a shame that Rover MG are in such trouble. I feel really sorry for those involved and their families. I can’t imagine how they are all feeling right now. My brother used to work at Longbridge a few years ago. He now works in Solihull building the Freelander for Ford. I hope that all of the people can find alternative employment. It is terrible that the only British car company remaining has been allowed to struggle on for so many years, and only when it is too late for those employed, do the government try to do something about it. Let’s hope that out of all of this mess something can be saved!
As you know I am a proud owner of an MGF and I know a couple of other people who have them too. They are fantastic cars to drive and so much fun, especially in the hot summer weather. I truly hope they can survive.
Today I was driving to Sandy in Bedfordshire when a stone flew up from the car in front of me and took a lovely big chunk out of my offside headlight. Gutted as you can imagine!! Not happy that it has happened as I need to buy a replacement now as there is a hole in it. I heard it hit but thought it was the windscreen. When I arrived at my friends house her husband notified me of the damage as he was standing in front of me and saw it first. I know these things happen but I was a bit surprised that it has caused that amount of damage. I am going to sulk now!!
