James’ First days at School
Well he did look a smart boy in his new uniform!! Yes James has finally started Primary School!! He was so excited to be going and carried his shoes around on the first morning for about an hour asking if it was time to go yet!! Daddy took a little bit of time off work to come along with us to school.
I had mixed feelings as I wasn’t really sure how James would be when it came to leaving him at his classroom door. I didn’t need to worry of course as he was absolutely fine and was happy to go. I had to call him back to say bye to us!!
I collected him at 12pm as for one week hs is just going for half a day, and he wanted to go back after lunch. He has enjoyed school and we have had no problems going so far!! Fingers crossed!!!! He has now been there for three days and seems quite happy. He came home yesterday and started counting up to 30. We had to phone daddy so that James could count to him too. Daddy was very impressed I must add!! We also read his story book which he enjoys and he is making new friends already.
