Garden
Well guess what I have been doing today?? Yes you guessed it, I was in the garden cutting the grass and getting it ready for those lovely winter months!!
I decided that I might not get much more of a chance with reasonable weather to cut the grass and strim the edges. As it was a pleasant morning, I decided that I must get out there and get cracking on it. I had to dig some awful smelling mushrooms out of the grass as Barney our rabbit runs free and I didn’t want him eating them and getting sick.
I trimmed up my potted plants and washed all of the patio furniture and returned it to its winter haven, the garage, and now the patio looks so bare again. My next plan is to empty my hanging baskets and refill them with winter plants as soon as they are available. Last year the garden looked so bare during the winter, so that’s why I have decided to try my luck with the winter plants. I have pots in the front garden which will have to be done as well. My work never stops!!
Barneys hutch has had an overhaul ready for the winter so he will be nice and warm and dry. I have almost finished painting the fences, so will have to get cracking on those when James is in school next week. I must admit, that it is the most boring job of all!! But music in my ears and I will be well away!! Weather permitting that is!!

Bet that was not your last garden tidy up for this year as the grass is still growing fast.
