Barney is a Daddy!!
Yesterday Daisy the bunny gave birth to five babies!!
Lousie wanted to breed her rabbit with ours, so we thought it would be nice for Barney to have the chance of being a daddy. We weren’t sure if it had actually worked as there didn’t seem to be any sign of pregnancy in Daisy. Louise bought an indoor hutch and we just waited to see what would happen.
Luckily for us she had five lovely little babies that seem to be very healthy. We can’t wait to be able to hold them and see which markings they have all inherited from their parents. Homes have been found for most of them, as at first we thought there was only four babies. They will remain with their mum for about eight weeks and then they will go to their new homes.
Once they are a little bigger I will post some photos so you can all see how cute they are.
