Vax Rapide Update
Well today I had to get the vax out again as James had so kindly thrown up all over the carpet in our en-suite bathroom (joy)!! Not pleasant I can tell you!!
I had had a comment left about the vax rapide a few days ago, and tried using mine the same way the guy had used his. I must admit that the hoover did not suck up the water straight away if you released it onto the carpet when pushing the vax forward. As it is when it is being pulled backwards, it draws up the fluid. I did find that it made better work of the cleaning but did leave it wetter than if you follow the instructions. I will see how it all looks when it is hoovered with the Dyson tomorrow.
I can’t really decide which way I prefer to use it because I didn’t like the carpet being too wet. I used it as per instructions last time and found it still did an excellent job. Maybe on stubborn stains I will change the way I use it. It has made me wonder if the guy is correct in thinking that maybe the instructions are wrong. I think I will contact vax and see what they say about it and I will post it on my blog at a later date.
