What’s Been Going On?
Well I know I have been bad at keeping up to date with my blog!! I have been busy trying to get all the xmas pressies before the mad rush from those who leave it till the last minute.
Last weekend we had our grand switch on with our neighbours and it was great fun. Bradley had his dj equipment out on their drive and they had the bbq going with yummy hot dogs. The atmosphere was brilliant and we all danced along to dj Brad. We had a big countdown and one person from each house ran round switching all of their lights on.

It looked brilliant and we all celebrated with a glass of champagne. People have been coming along and having a look and drivers slow down. It is nice that others are enjoying them as much as we are.

James had his first nativity play at school last week and we went along to see him. It was very good and the reception children were little stars and all looked so cute. I remember when Tiffany had her first nativity when she started school and that was a few years ago now. She will be 15 in early January. Time flies!!
I have been into town at least four times this week. Not like me to do that as I only normally go when necessary. I had my hair cut on Monday, picked up a few reserved items on Friday, bought tickets for the panto on Thursday and then went back on Saturday as it was Tiffany’s turn for her hair cut. Never been that many times in one week before and don’t intend doing it again.
Today has been a quiet day, we only went to the video shop as there is nothing on all of the tv chanels that we have. The kids drove me nuts as usual because they can’t seem to do anything together without squabbling. I got fed up in the end and went for a walk by myself. It was nice and peaceful and it calmed me down. It was a bit chilly but it didn’t bother me really as it was quiet.
Tomorrow the kids are back at school and I will get some peace and quiet. I will be at work too so that will be nice. Really must get this wrapping of pressies done as I am way behind compared to last year. If the kids don’t start behaving I don’t think santa will want to visit our house this year!! I have been good so I should get something from santa ( I hope!!)
Well not a lot to say really considering it has been a couple of weeks since I last wrote. I promise to try to keep on track and write more regularly.
