Dancing On Ice
We have watched it every week and it is amazing how well the celebrities have done. To see Torvil and Dean do the Bolero again after all these years was just fantastic!! I was a school kid when they first skated it and won the gold medal in the Olympics and I was amazed at it then. It certainly brought back memories to me.
I was so pleased that Gaynor and Daniel won as they definatley deserved it!! She has done so fantastically and I think improved the most. I have been voting for her every week and I was so pleased that Bonnie was voted out by the viewers. Yes Bonnie can do all of the lifts as her dancing skills were what made her look good as far as I am concerned. She was very rarely left alone on the ice as her partner Matt was always holding her. I will give her this though, she certainly did the best tripple spin last week.
I was getting annoyed with Jason, one of the judges, as he always seemed to praise Bonnie to the highest and no matter how well the others did, he always criticised them. I am just so glad that the judges votes didn’t count in the final as I am sure Bonnie would have been in it.
Stefan did brilliantly all the way through and I was glad that he and Christina got through the skate offs. I was very happy that he got trough to skate his version of Bolero, but Gaynor and Daniel’s version was definatley far superior. We all jumped for joy when they announced that Stefan and Gaynor were the two to skate the Bolero. We just knew deep down that Gaynor would win. What an achievement for her. Lets just hope that they do another series next year. I have no idea what we will be watching on a Saturday night now. It’s such a shame that all good things come to an end.
