TomTom upgrade disaster

I have explained some of the Issues with TomTom NavCore 7 on the Go 710 before, but the latest discovery on Monday morning has me fuming.

How on earth TomTom can release an upgrade that loses such a core piece of functionality is beyond me.

The main reason I always have the TomTom on, even when I know where I am going is it is my BlueTooth handsfree kit for my phone. It’s a key feature, and also the reason I have the phone I have, which was selected for it’s compatability with the various BlueTooth functions that the TomTom offers.

But NOW it doesn’t work. Voice is totally garbled with small clips of speech being randomly repeated until after a couple of minutes either TomTom or the phone crash.

ABSOLUTE JUNK If you see the upgrade available on TomTom Home don’t install it.
