Episode III

Its a pity that Episodes I and II weren’t aimed for the same target audience, as a significant proportion of the people wanting to see these films has grown up since Episode IV-VI.
The critics slate the acting, but acting has not been an important element of the Star Wars saga anyway. The story has an attraction of its own. I particularly like the way that Anakin’s reason for turning to the dark side ends up being the cause behind the visions he has. Also, the outcome plunges him further into the dark side, to the Emporers great delight – delicious. Obi Wan’s and Darth Vaders light sabre fight is fantastic, along with the way it ends. I was worried that Obi Wan totally removing Darth Vaders limbs would be out of character, and the story addressed that point neatly too. Darth Vader not knowing about Luke and Leah was simply explained, and C3PO’s amnesia re: Tatooine is also neatly brushed aside.
Go and see it.
