Last Weekend in UK
We’ve had a very pleasant weekend. We went to Pam and Bob’s daughter, Lorraine’s for dinner with her and husband Geoff and daughters Natalie and Laura. Lorraine and Geoff cooked us a fantastic meal but poor Geoff was under the weather so could not eat anything. We think it was self inflicted as they had been to a party the night before!
Peter managed to get the gardening finished over the weekend so we can leave for Spain knowing that we’ve left everything here shipshape.
Oh and we took the over purchased paint back to Focus and changed it for paint to decorate the hall and staircase on our next visit here. Nothing like planning ahead!
Sunday lunchtime Peter’s niece Tina, husband Dave and youngest son Jack brought Peter’s Mum down and stayed and had lunch with us. It was a lovely warm sunny day and we sat out in the garden in the afternoon. We had a very pleasant time with Tina as they are a lovely family. Hope we will enjoy more times with them.
