Hot! Hot! Hot!
Over the last 10 days the weather has just got hotter and hotter. Every day now is up in the 30’s and up to 28 in the shade. This will probably stay like this now until well into September. We are not complaining but will be doing as little as possible now for a good few weeks.
We will have to get into the habit of getting up very early in the mornings to do the chores before the heat of the day arrives.
The pool, with the aid of the cover, is now maintaining a temperature of 29C so it is wonderful for swimming. We have reduced the Jacuzzi temperature to 30C and only tend to use it early mornings and night time as we are using the pool a lot more.
At the moment the house is keeping quite cool unless we go out and leave everything shut up. The insulation here is designed to keep the heat out rather than the cold as in the UK.
