Our close friends, Pam and Bob arrived on 14th March for a 10 day visit. The first thing they had to do was jump in the Jacuzzi. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and the temperature of the Jacuzzi was 35.5 degrees.

At last we can report that the weather here in Spain has shown a marked improvement over the last couple of weeks. Temperatures are now consistently in the 20’s dropping to 13/14 at night.

It has been lovely to hear from friends who have seen our Web Site. Keeping in touch is so important.

As we have had visitors for 10 days, Peter has had a well earned holiday from his project. He is currently working in the ‘established’ garden generally tidying up and pruning. I’m sure he will get back onto the project pretty soon though.

I would like to congratulate our son on his continued weight loss. Well done David. Keep up the good work. I’d like to be thin but can’t be bothered now!
Also big congratulations to daughter-in-law Alison on her fantastic pass result for her recent Open University exam.

Well, we have finally christened the Jacuzzi! We went in last night at about 7pm. The outside temperature 10C and a bit windy but the water in the Jacuzzi was 34.5C. and we hardly felt the wind tucked behind the screen.

Our closest friends, Pam and Bob, arrive tomorrow morning for a 10 day stay. The come out every March and June. We have been friends for 40+ years and are really looking forward to their visit.

We went to our new friends, Diane and John, for Supper and Bridge last Thursday. Diane, pronounced Dee-ann is Australian and John is British. Supper was lovely – duck with plum sauce, cheesy potatoes and veg, with a lovely yummy dessert to follow.

Having had the Jacuzzi installed we decided to have some glass screens erected to act as a windbreak and to give us some privacy from the road. Of course the Jacuzzi was in the way of the screen installers so it had to be drained down to lighten it so that it could be moved!
